Alvar Aalto's armchair 42 with the unique, cantilevered shape was designed in 1932 for the Paimio Sanatorium, together with the side table 915. Here they're pictured in the great company of Tapio Wirkkala's recently re-launched, iconic pendant light TW003 from 1960.
