It's hard to describe how much last nights performance meant to me. When I finished the last note, I looked up at the audience, the judges, & the cameras and I had a vivid flashback to when I was a contestant on the show. 4 years ago the conclusion of my performance was was filled with humiliation, and I was absolutely devastated. This time I held up my bow with pure joy and confidence. Same girl, same show but after years of perfecting my art, I was able to accomplish what I set out to do so long ago. I gave the performance that I wanted so badly to give when this all started. This is what I saw in my mind; this is who I knew I could be. If you've ever been disappointed or let down by yourself or others, remember that every failure is a step preparing you to become who you know you can be. Thank you @nbcagt for inviting me back on the show and thanks to @ジー・ヘイル and my whole team for making it such a special night.
