Eddie Bauer is pleased to announce the addition of hard-charging #splitboarder, alpine climber, and mountain guide Liz Daley to our guide and athlete team. Born and raised in Washington, Daley launched into the backcountry on the proving ground of Mt. Baker’s Shuksan Arm, then migrated to Chamonix, where she learned to master steep, technical descents during six consecutive winters in residence.
Her biggest winter missions have included descents of the Bonatti Couloir on Petit Mont Blanc, the Col des Cristaux in the Argentière basin, the Couloir Fynn-Bislex, and the Y Couloir off the Aiguille d’Argentière, as well as a peak-to-valley run on the Mont Blanc massif. Daley has also ticked off PNW classics including Eldorado Peak, the Northwest Couloir of Mt. Shuksan, the Cowlitz Glacier on Rainier, the North Face of Mt. Adams and a first female split descent on Mt. Baker’s Coleman Headwall. A global mountain traveler, Daley has also shredded big, steep lines in Utah’s Wasatch, Alaska’s Tordrillo range, and the Canadian Selkirks.
Also an accomplished alpine #climber, Daley can be found heading to Smith Rock, Indian Creek, and seeking alpine splitter granite in Chamonix during the off-seasons, filming for her The Daley Splitter web series on Epic TV. In the summers, she guides clients on mountaineering, climbing, and splitboarding trips for Bellingham-based AAI on Mt. Baker and in the North Cascades. Give her a follow at @liz_daley
