A true shame that there are "Iranians" who hate on a man that has brought pride, joy, and respect in the name of Iranian footballers on some of the worlds biggest stages and put on stellar performances in front of some of the worlds best players.
Javad has played his heart out for both club and country for the past 14 years. He has been a part of 2 World Cups, 3 Asian Cups (not including the 2015 Asian Cup), played 6 years in La Liga and was regarded as one of the better central midfielders in the league (scoring goals in the UEFA cup and against Real Madrid). He has performed marvelously everywhere he's gone, starting all the way from the beginning in Pas Tehran where he was first brought in to Team Meli, which is most importantly where he has had the biggest role and effect in his career.
Let's hope that Javad can finish out his glorious career by lifting the 2015 Asian Cup and bring more pride and joy to Iranian football fans just like he has over the last 14 years.
