Being one of the fastest growing sports in the country, volleyball can be addicting. Whether you're a lifer or just beginning the sport, the excitement never changes. These three volleyball athletes from the USA A1 Select Red team know that all too well. "I've never met anyone who didn't like volleyball after playing," @griffinschmit (center) said. "You should remember not to be nervous when starting, because everybody has to begin somewhere." After being cut from his soccer club, he was urged to try out for volleyball by his mother, who played volleyball in college.
Charlie Siragusa (left) was also cut from another sport before trying volleyball, as he was introduced to the sport by a neighbor, for @spencewiki5 (right) it was his father who taught him the game at age six.
