Arrived late. Watched the Eiffel Tower glitter right above us in the middle of the night. It felt like we were the only one there (we weren't). Magical, still. Bicycle taxi to Champs Élysées for dinner and hot tea at 2am. Long walk home holding hands through the empty streets of Paris. Slept little, up early. Croissants and coffee on a street corner, more Eiffel Tower, then headed to Pont de l'Archevêché and put a padlock on the bridge of love over the Seine. We wrote our initials on it and our wedding date. Kept the keys (good scrapbook material)! Walked down the river from there, went to the Louvre, saw the Notre Dame and then sat down to eat cheese and drink really, really good wine (Sancerre - always!) in St Germain. After that, Montmartre. My favorite. Cobblestone streets and tiny galleries and artists on every corner. Sacre-coeur and enchanted views of the city. Then, more French food, French music and another walk through this lovely, lovely place. It really is the city of love!
The honeymoon ends but it really doesn't. Sweden tonight and cuddles with the puppies. Actually... Our honeymoon continues, unofficially, forever☺️ #married #grateful #happy
