Went for a Paddle this morning to bring back that Summer Vibe after yesterday’s "Shark Incident” off the Manhattan Beach Pier. I hesitate to call it an attack because the shark was on a fisherman’s line for over 30 minutes, scared and confused before a swimmer unfortunately came in it’s path and was bit.
The swimmer will recover (thanks to a quick and brave response by the surfers/lifeguards). The fisherman however released a disgusting video of he and his buddies laughing as the swimmer was bitten by the shark on his line. So I felt the need to paddle the same route the swimmer was on and bring some of the Summer Vibe (Walk Off The Earth) back to our water and pier. This is the Sharks home, we are visitors just passing through. Please respect the ocean and all of its amazing creatures.

On that note…Are you coming to the Instameet next Saturday, July 12 at 6pm? It’s a good opportunity to visit our Pier and hang out with other Instagrammers in the area.
