The #SwissGlockenspiel in #LeicesterSquare was removed when the #Swiss Centre was demolished in 2008. But a Derby clock maker helped restore and return it to the capital. The redesigned musical clock, featuring 27 bells and 11 moving Swiss figures, was rebuilt by Smith of Derby in collaboration with Swiss artists. The 10m (32ft) high glockenspiel was originally gifted to the City of Westminster in 1985 by #Switzerland and Liechtenstein as a token of centuries of friendship.
