#TBT One year ago today I had the honor of standing outside the Supreme Court of the United States as #PROP8 and Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act (#DOMA) were struck down. It was a day I will never forget.
These were landmark decisions that have greatly impacted #LGBT and US history: in the past year, there have been 22 consecutive court rulings in favor of same-sex marriage. The majority of the country has yet to legalize marriage equality, however, so we must continue to stand up for ourselves and educate others by sharing our stories and showing the world that #LoveIsLove.
