Well, not my best meet by far, but I came with numbers in mind to hit, so I went for them. With risk taking like that, there are bound to be misses. Here's my opener at 88kg thanks to the lovely Nat from @hookgrip ?jumped to 91 for 2 cracks at a new Junior American record which I've hit in training, but it just wasn't in the cards for me today. I came really close both attempts, however. Went into the clean and jerk with the goal of making it on the Senior World team. Hit a meet PR clean and jerk in the process, but was all toes on the one I needed and finished one lift shy of making the senior world team. Ended with a PR total of 190kg at 62.6kg body weight. Next meet... I'll get that record. Overall, not a good meet for me, but we had to push.
