I quickly learned that spending 40 days in a tent in #Antarctica gives you a lot of time to get to know the surrounding area. It's so cold that moving as much as you can is way better then sitting around. The #SnowPetrel's were my favorite subject to shoot when we weren't climbing or trekking, and they were kind of the only other option aside from the beautiful landscape. This was one of my favorite slow shutter speed captures of the high speed moving birds, the ghost petrel.
