Throwback shot from when I was the only person I knew of that was shooting waves with photomode on the GoPro HD1 ... close minded people would get so upset about it back then that they'd leave crazy comments or write me essay long emails about how wrong I was for using a GoPro for surf photography instead of an SLR ... haha ... the funny thing was it never really mattered to me whether it was right or wrong ... all I cared about was that I was having fun and capturing beauty... it's so awesome how far the technology has come today and how many people are having fun and capturing amazing images with these cameras ... So glad I decided to follow my passion instead of other people's rules. @gopro #gopro
