Wondering if this was meant for me. Someone found it written in a bathroom stall in Mallorca. I feel like it is for me. Is it? March 2014. The moment everything fell apart. It's been two months which is no time but also a lot of time and I'm still trying to piece things back together. Tonight I'm questioning everything. What is the point of living the way we do? Why are we here? Why do people die? Why do people live? I don't know the answers to these questions. I will continue to contemplate them until I feel at peace. Even if it takes a lifetime. One thing I know for sure: I can only do my best. And I can't please everyone. We have different paths and believe it or not, I cannot fix anybody. We can only fix ourselves. With time. But we have to do the work. There are no easy fixes to mend a broken heart. Time does not heal all wounds but each day that passes is an opportunity for us to learn how to deal with it a little better. Time doesn't fix our pain. We simply get better at managing it. Hopefully one day we'll be so good at it that barely feel it at all.

Thank you, whoever wrote this on the wall of a bathroom stall. Even if it wasn't meant for me, it was.
