This is an incredible colour pencil painting by the Spanish artist Adolfo Fernandez Rodriguez. And yes, I did say colour pencil painting. Rodriguez is a colour pencil artist that uses certain techniques to "paint" with the pencils. His work is beyond amazing and just shows what can be accomplished in this particular medium if practice, patience and dedication is involved. For many, many years oil paint has been the medium of choice for artists wanting to achieve hyperrealism, however artists such as Rodriguez and instagrams very own @afjelnseth, have adopted this technique and shown that the colour pencil is a force to be reckoned....or should I say....painted with ?
