This small mama has cherry eye and a scar on her forehead. Her babies are weaned, and very cute, 2 black and white and a brindle. Not sure of the mix, mama look sort of Heinz 57. I was hoping the shelter could take them, but the cherry eye presents a problem as far as mom is concerned. They're all very friendly and their time will be up Monday.
The physical location of the Animal Control facility kennels is on the grounds of A Second Chance Animal Shelter at 5079 Alex Harvin Highway (Route 301) in Manning, SC. A Second Chance Animal Shelter has been contracted by the Clarendon County Council to provide kennel help to care for, feed, and euthanize stray animals not claimed by their owners.
Dogs are held for five days if they have no identification, or fourteen days if they do have identification. A reasonable effort will be made by staff to notify individuals listed on a dog's identification information. If you see your lost or stolen pet's photo on our Facebook page, or you are interested in adopting an unclaimed dog held in Animal Control, please call the AC office at 803-473-7101 during business hours. If you are a rescue organization interested in pulling a dog from AC, please contact the Rescue Coordinator for information at 803-473-7075.

Unclaimed dogs cannot be adopted directly to the public from Animal Control. The facility is not open to the general public. Weekend pick-ups/surrenders BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, IN ADVANCE.
