To climb the towers of Bishekele in the Ennedi Desert of Chad we first had to get permission from the Chief of the area. Despite being nearly blind, he saw our enthusiasm, and blessed our adventure. It was an epic in all the good and bad forms of the word. I loved it.
This was also my first expedition where I made it a goal to shoot medium format stills instead of traditional 35mm. I've been hooked ever since! >#tbt to when I started @camp4collective with a couple good friends in 2010.
