This photo of Siena and her cubs was taken yesterday, courtesy of Patrick Reynolds at Governors Camp.
We are happy to report that Siena, the injured lioness we have been helping and monitoring, is doing very well. Her wound looks great, has no infection, and is getting smaller by the day. Siena herself look fit and healthy; she is feeding well, with plenty of milk still for her cubs.
Siena was originally treated on 4 April by the DSWT/KWS Mara Mobile Veterinary Team for a serious wound inflicted by a water buffalo.
