#wwbsiwishlist2ndround finalist @peterkurta25 about himself : My name is Peter Kurta, and I am 18 years old. I currently train at the San Diego school of Ballet in San Diego California. I have also trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and The Rock School for Dance Education. I enjoy Yumiko Dancewear and I really like Saut de Basque not only for their cloning but the excellent way they treat their customers. Some interesting facts about myself is that I have had two surgeries in the past three years, I was raised Ina small town in upstate New York, and I started dancing because of the movie Riverdance. However I do want to give my opinion about something I feel strongly about in dance. When I started take ballet seriously, I quickly realized that many successful dancers tend to have the beautiful bodies that seem made for ballet. I however, had no natural flexibility or strength when I began, and many teachers told me that I wouldn't be able to go far. But the one attribute I did have was work ethic. I did not let body type get in the way of becoming the best I could be. It took years and years of excruciating pain and hard work to develop he most basic technique, and I was for quite a while always behind the rest of my peers. But what kept teachers attention was how hard I worked. Even with having a "bad ballet body" and having had two surgeries, I am now getting very close to a company contract. I still have much more to learn, but don't we all? If you use any of this, I would like to highlight that as long as you work hard and believe in yourself, you can achieve anything. I started with nothing, and now I feel that I have something I can be proud of. Remember! 1 like = 1 vote!! ✨ #peterkurta
