This is Temple Grandin at 66 she was born with autism at a time they seen her condition in a way that meant she was less than a human back being autistic meant being diagnosed and labeled with brain damage most told her mother to send her off she would be nothen but trouble but instead her mother seeked help for her daughter today there is a movie about her, books about her she regularly dose siminars about autism rights and animal science. Most people don't even know where there food comes from and most farmers don't even know that a lot of the modern techniques and animal rights came from a autistic women. Which was not easy for her in her condition especially at the time she was doing it. Her fist elaborate invention was at the age of 18 and we still use today to calm cattle and keep them safe. "I think using animals for food is an ethical thing to do, but we've got to do it right. We've got to give those animals a decent life, and we've got to give them a painless death. We owe the animal respect."
