I'm truly honored to announce that #BridegroomMovie received the #GLAAD award for best documentary last night.

In addition to this amazing recognition and the humbling standing ovation we received, we had the privilege of being presented the award by the beautiful, inspiring Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o.

I will always be grateful to everyone who made this documentary possible and who helped spread its message of love and hope. I received so much support in that room last night, especially from my mom, who attended the celebration with me. It will be an evening that I never forget.
