It's thought to be the most trafficked mammal in the world, and we'll bet you've never heard of it. CNN columnist John D. Sutter (@jdsutter) is introducing the world to the humble, secretive pangolin as part of his #changethelist project. At least 10,000 pangolins are thought to be traded illegally each year for their meat and scales. A pangolin meal can run $1,750 in Hanoi, Vietnam, and the scales are ground up and served with rice for alleged medicinal benefits.
