There are times that pictures on the screen just don't cut it. Works of art that simply HAVE to be seen in the flesh. For myself, this is one of them!! I really, REALLY want to be in presence of this magnificent sculpture. The work of Japanese contemporary artist Motohiko Odani is just sublime as you can quite clearly see. He uses a variety of techniques and mediums to create these immense sculptures that really capture motion, and have a weightless look and feel to them. This particular piece was taken from his "phantom limb" series, and as far as I am aware is made of paper!! Don't quote me on that though, information on his techniques are quite hard to find!
