I take the darkest color and hit areas of my face I want to minimize. When contouring and highlighting remember that you are trying to create contrast between certain areas of your face. You can do this by shadowing some areas with dark color, and enhancing other areas with lighter color. When there is a dark and light area, for example on my nose here, it creates contrast which in turn makes it look more chiseled. It's all about illusion..ahh the power of makeup??"
