#WEBSTATIMES02 ? New Year around the world
Hey everyone! We're starting to feature some entries for #WEBSTATIMES02 (New Year edition)! This one's from @syamly, showing a scene from Nepal's Bisket Jatra festival, a tradition held at the start of the Nepali New Year (mid April). The festival is based on a story of a King's quest to find a suitable husband for his daughter, which involves breaking a spell. Chariots would usually be pulled from both sides like a game of tug of war, causing excitement and cheers among the crowd.
