#waw Christina Amphlett, the lead singer of Divinyls, the Australian rock band whose hit “I Touch Myself” people in the US recognize them for. But she was so much more than that! If you go back and listen to their records it's almost like Blondie mixed with The Police. In my opinion she had one of the most distinctive voices in rock. She was also renowned for her raunchy, high-energy performances and her stage outfits, most famously a school uniform and fishnet stockings.
