Well that guy on the left is my dad. Today he turns 60 like a legend.. Ever the pioneer.. He taught Freddie Mercury how to rock a stache and be a rock star.. The similarities end there.. But true to form, I've watched my dad lead and serve and give and give again. Relentless in his desire to place value on the potential of others, lift people's heads to see the real Jesus.. And resist the short cuts, temptations, pressures, criticisms and praise to build a Church that is built on nothing less than Christ alone. More than that I've watched him as his son. Honor my mother, champion us in our own dreams, not his, and somehow always keep family as priority in the midst of everything.. No easy feat..
