Making a Solera Vat stand tall and proud in Warehouse 8 is a noisy business. Here you can see our Coopers "hooping" - fitting the hoops that hold the giant staves of the Vat together. No nails, no glue, just the craftsmanship and knowledge passed down generation to generation and that ensures every drop of Glenfiddich tastes as good as the last. Our Cask Collection and our 15 Year Old Solera expressions have been mellowed in these Solera Vats just before being bottled, ensuring an exceptionally smooth whisky with unrivalled consistency of flavour.
