The old town, #GamlaStan, is a concoction of storybook buildings, imposing palaces and razor-thin cobblestone streets. The modern city centre is vibrant and famous for producing sleek designs, edgy fashion and world-class nightclubs. And it’s all surrounded by pristine forests and the 24,000 or so rocky islands that make up the archipelago (skärgÃ¥rd)! #Sweden was named one of our Top 10 Countries for this year's Best in Travel series.
