This is Van Nguyen (@vnguyen93), a kid just like you. Originally from Sunset Park, New York, Van went from working a Summer Youth Employment Program and a side job at Rivals Skateshop, to taking a 3-day cross country bus ride to The Berrics, before heading back to New York. A few months down the line a proactive Twitter message got him into Street League with Steve Berra and back out to LA to become an official Berrics intern. Free of charge. All because he reached out to us and wasn’t afraid to put in the hard work to get here. Never be afraid to go for what you want in life. This right here is proof that anything can happen. Dreams do come true if you reach for the stars and put in the time and energy to achieve your goals.
