Nyjah created the impact of an entire continental divide with his @DCシューズ Fade To Black part. Skateboarding will never be the same. 20-stair rails are the new 10-stairs, and kinks should now just be considered handrail speed bumps. On top of putting out quite possibly the most death-defying, jaw-dropping skateboard part of all-time, Nyjah continued his reign over every contest in existence: He placed 1st at @StreetLeague Stop 1 in Brazil, 1st at Street League Stop 2 in Barcelona, 1st at Street League Stop 3 in Kansas City, 1st at Street League Stop 6 in LA, 2nd at the Street League Super Crown in New Jersey, 2nd at Tampa Pro 2013, and 1st at 2013 Kimberley Diamond Cup in South Africa. Sitting on more contest prize money than any other skateboarder before him, Nyjah also won an ESPY Award for Best Male Action Sports Athlete, took covers of Thrasher (July 2013 issue) and Skateboarder (March 2013 issue), along with interviews in each, and was one of five Thrasher 2013 Skater Of The Year Finalists. Oh yeah, and he put out countless clips on The Berrics, had a Bangin’, and entered BATB6. Good god!
