Meet my rescue pup, Luna! She just had her first birthday a few days ago so I guess she’s not a little pup anymore but still acts like one! The start to her life was a little rough – she was dumped in a rural area of Oklahoma, far from any residences. I’m not sure how long she spent on her own but when she was found, she was hanging out with a stinky deer carcass! She was lucky though to be found and taken in by the wonderful local shelter there. She then spent the next 4 months of her puppy hood at the shelter, as a sad victim of Black Dog Syndrome :( But she got another break when she was 5 months- she was chosen to be transferred to Chicago! I adopted her the first day I met her. I loved her goofy face and gentle personality. Even though I spoil her like crazy, she doesn’t ask for much.
