For the majority of my life, I hid in the proverbial shadows, ashamed of who I was, and afraid of what the world would think of me. Life seemed bleak until I met the love of my life, Tom, who taught me to live, and love, with honestly and unbridled passion. Even in death, Tom's lessons live on, through me and our story. It's difficult to describe the journey I've taken over the past few years, but I hope you will share it with me by tuning in tonight when BRIDEGROOM premieres on The Oprah Winfrey Network.

BRIDEGROOM is not about politics. It is a film about love, forgiveness, and discovering the courage to be who you are when the world says you shouldn't. I am incredibly proud of this film, and am so grateful to have the opportunity to share this deeply personal story with you.
