My beautiful friends Marcelino and Pieter got married last night and their ceremony was officiated by the beautiful Shangela. The couple commissioned me to do a portrait for her as a thank you gift. The background is acrylic paint, the body, hair and dress are ink, and the face is 100% makeup. MAC cosmetics and Makeup Forever to be exact and then 8 coats of poly to seal it all in. I wanted her face to be the only part in color. Watching Shangela unwrap the painting and her great reaction was itself a gift to me.
