The Olympic Torch Relay got to the Tsiolkovsky State Museum of Cosmonautics in Kaluga. The right to light the Cauldron of Fire was given to Sergei Samburov (pictured on the photo) – an aerospace engineer, great-grandson of the famous scientist and inventor Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. He ran past the museum dedicated to his great ancestor, carrying the Olympic flame, and then Sergei got up on the stage and finished the city stage of the Sochi 2014 Torch Relay by lighting the Cauldron of Fire opposite the "East" Rocket. "We have no concept of the word "last" in space exploration, only of the word "on the extreme end." And now here I am - "on the extreme end", the final torchbearer, and it is a great honor for me, as well as a great responsibility,"- Sergey Samburov shared his impressions of his Olympic race. #torchrelay #sochi2014
