#throwbackthursday 12 year old Tess. A girl who so desperately wanted to fit in, & just never quite could. What I would love to say to those who shoved me into lockers & forced me to drop out of school. I never will though, because people like that will never quite get how their words impacted my life & shaped me into the woman I am. While other's attack me now for my size, wondering "How could you do that to your body?", it's simple. I was a broken girl looking for the only comfort I could find. I no longer do that, but I carried the pain with me (literally) until recently. So next time you judge someone for their lifestyle choices, good or bad- remember that might be the only way they are surviving this cruel world. Thank goodness I had support to get me through the darkness. In the word's of J.K. Rowling: “Is 'fat' really the worst thing a human being can be?
