Toronto Blue Jays 1B/DH ADAM LIND has been named the Honda Player of the Month for September by the Toronto Chapter of the BBWAA. Honda, the official vehicle of the Blue Jays, will make a donation to a charity of Adam’s choice.
Adam batted .339 (22-68) while ranking T-1st in home runs (7) & 2nd in RBI (20) among the AL for the month of September. The left-handed hitter also posted a .662 slugging percentage to rank 3rd in the AL in September. Adam was the only player to capture the award more than once as he accomplished the feat in June as well.
