why i leave instagram

first i want to thank you very much for your comments under the previous picture. some have moved me to tears, especially this morning when i saw johan's (juanth_o_ @) action. he is an instafriend who first did not want to follow me because he was afraid of dogs overdose. thank you so much johan for what you did, i do appreciate that very much.

24 hours ago i have decided to leave, i thought about everything thoroughly, all friends have advised me against leaving because they know my passion for instagram, but nothing has really changed since yesterday. i feel as if i amputate a piece of me, but i see no other solution. it is repugnant to me that instagram has such a problem with harmless female nipples in a picture that is not offensive at all, but at the same time allows pictures of animals desecrated and allowes the glorification of weapons to. i have nothing against censorship in clearly pornographic content, and i believe that kids should be protected from such images, but certainly not from female nipples (why female only? isn't that actually sexist against women or against men maybe?).

but violence is probably not a problem for instagram (search for 'gun' and you will find 1,140,641 posts, search for 'hunt' and you will find, among other things, quite disgusting images that obviously bother anyone) but search for "nipple" and you will find 0 photos.

please don't get me wrong: i'm not nipple fetishist, nipples i don't care at all - but i do not want to be a part of this hypocritical bigotry.
