12 years ago today not only birthed a tragic terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in NYC, my first musical baby was born. My first album "Ghetto Fabolous" was released September 11, 2001. That day something thats 1 of the most important accomplishments of a artist (1st album's release) was put aside for a greater importance. The security, safety, compassion for my fellow New York City natives & Americans.
My album cover was a #ThrowbackThursday post awhile back & I came across this comment that meant a lot to me. At the time i hoped my music could help people escape the tragedy, my charitable efforts would show my concern & compassion. But this comment showed me that in a indirect way I even saved a life which is so much bigger than even going PLATINUM. Thank u @dondivamami for sharing this with me. I will #NeverForget this day or the lives lost. God Bless
