So friendly looking...kinda like a Dr. Seuss creation...but oddly not as friendly as the picture the whiskers paint. This largeish walrus in #FranzJosephLand #Russia was curious at first, then just outright in my face. They weigh thousands of pounds and are agile swimmers...and the 2.5 ft tusks can puncture just about anything...including zodiac (raft) material.
