#aimtruechallenge Day 7 - a picture you'd be embarrassed to post. Ok so it does take A LOT to embarrass me. I firmly believe in the saying "What other people think of me is none of my business" and have never hesitated to post weird stuff or shots of myself just the way I am - that means no make up, no flattering angles. Sometimes I have bad days when I feel this or that pic turned out terrible. I either look fat, or ugly, or... Whatever bad thing my mind tricks me into believing. I always post it no matter what. 99% of the time nobody notices the flaw I saw in myself anyway, and the second I put it out into the world I get that it's all in my head. All of our so called "flaws"; they're all in our heads and none of them are actually true. We are perfect, beautiful beings. All the time. When it comes to our bodies there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Ever! So I thought of either posting a picture where I'm falling out of a pose or with bad alignment. Here's the thing though: You cannot know everything right away! Yoga is a practice, and every misaligned pose when I first started out brought me one step closer to learning everything I know about alignment today. And everytime you fall out of a pose you learn everything you need to know about how to stay in it. So if I'm not posting body/alignment/falling over shots, what am I left with? Easy: stupid stuff I do. This picture, for instance. Drunk off my ass in Vegas (yes... Yoga girl does enjoy tequila from time to time!?) I stole a big yellow cone and danced around with it like an idiot from hotel to hotel on the strip, pretending I was there to clean all the floors with my bare feet. Not my finest moment. Embarrassing? Yes. More embarrassing? We got escorted to our room at 9.30am by hotel security after "questionably" winning $500 on black jack and getting stuck in a giant art piece in the form of a stiletto shoe. I am seriously embarrassed to share this with you! But here is the thing... I am who I am, and that includes everything I do. Tequila and handstands and all? Hope you'll share something good back?
