I'm often asked why I add a mole / freckle / beauty spot beneath one eye of each girl I draw. There's a few reasons, but mainly it's because I find it helps accentuate the eyes, my favorite facial feature. It's something I've included in my drawings for years and I guess over time it's become a small trademark. .
