A portrait of legendary alpinist #GeorgeLowe. This is the first in a #Heroes series on the inspirations in my life. George is one of our oldest family friends and perhaps the single most influential climber in my life aside from my father. He is responsible for some of the finest ascents/attempts in early contemporary alpinism from cutting edge suffer fests in the Canadian Rockies to the first ascent of the Kanshung Face in #Everest in 1983. George was in my life from day one...my father was the best man in his wedding and he continues to be a major source of passion.
