my stash of nail treatments? I use to bite my nails, and wore acrylic and gel tips constantly so that I couldn't bite- unfortunately, it was just as bad for my nails? once i finally stopped getting fake nails my natural nails were paper thin and looked horrible ? The first treatment on the left is Sally Hansen maximum shield. This worked very well as a hardener; the only con was that my nails got so hard that the edges of the nail would crack instead of bending. I've also tried l.a. colors hardener (second bottle), which was very inexpensive but there wasnt much of noticeable difference. The third product- Sally Hansen maximum strength, was the first product I've tried that helped my nails grow longer and stronger? there was still some peeling, but they were much more flexible and grew quickly. Finally, I'm now using OPI nail envy, which I love already? only a week since i started and I've noticed growth and improved strength. Its pricey but i feel like it is worth investing in because it works.
