One year ago I snapped this photo on Georgian Bay. It was the only weekend we've spent together with my parents and they fell in love with you almost as fast as I did. It's not easy being so far from my original family, especially on days like Father's Day, but there's nothing I regret less in this life than being here with you. And they'd want it no other way.
With you, the man in my life, I will celebrate every day. Even the hard ones.
