A few months ago I posted a picture of me with this guy, #Barakuta. A gentle giant, a loving family man, a village leader in Momi, and one of the @tavarua_fiji family members forever. He passed away quietly at home two nights ago. I didn't find out until after the event finished yesterday. Life sure can take a quick change of direction. Celebrate life and don't get caught mourning passings for too long. Feel it all but let it go. Barakuta, we loved you as a friend and always will. Everyone misses you dearly on Tavarua and we're all better for knowing you in this lifetime. @tavjamie @brandonlillard @saxboucher @jonroseman1 @shanedorian @davewassel @a_gray @gadestar @beaverstake and the others.
