Remedies. I have the worst cold!? I can't stand being sick. In addition to eating tons of oranges and garlic I use herbal remedies and vitamins to get better. Here's what's in my natural remedy cabinet: ?Grapefruit Seed Extract - the most effective natural remedy when you're sick or fighting off a cold! GSE is a natural antiseptic and can even be used to purify water. It helps to keep the body alkaline and relieves sinus and throat infections. I put 15 drops in a glass of juice in the morning - try it out the next time you have a cold! ?Colloidal Silver spray - I use this every day if I'm feeling a little bit under the weather, and a few times per day if I'm actually sick. Believe it or not but silver is GREAT for your immune system as it kills bad bacteria (without disturbing the good) and works as an antiviral agent. ?Vitamin C - no explanation needed here... Go nuts on the stuff! I prefer Vitamin C from real whole foods as opposed to vitamin capsules (real food always trumps). Try citrus fruit, kiwi, broccoli, berries, papaya, kale... The list goes on. ?Cold/flu tea - You can never drink too much tea when you're sick! Hydrate, hydrate... ?Ginseng Royal Jelly - for energy. Ginseng regulates blood sugar and combats fatigue and royal jelly has a ton of antioxidants. It's also anti-inflammatory and antibiotic so it helps fight infection. It goes in my tea? ?Echinacea - Activates chemicals in the body that decrease inflammation. Extremely effective for fighting colds! ?Cold/Sinus Blaster - an herbal blend I found at a natural pharmacy in Woodstock. I'm honestly not sure what exact herbs are in there but it literally blasts your sinuses - the taste is awful but I can always breathe easier afterwards. Also, I always check my Ph when I'm sick - an acidic body is an unhappy body! Ph strips can be found at most pharmacies and online. Eliminate caffeine, alcohol, red meat, sodas and sugary foods from your diet and watch your Ph change with time (and your well-being with it!). Now, off to feeling better land...?☺? #resteverydamnday
