Happy Mother's Day to my mom! I've got a lot to be thankful for... But the greatest is for having her as my mom. I'm thankful for God having placed me directly on my mother's door-step that cold rainy night when I was 2 days old, and for my mom taking me in as her own child and raising me to be the man I am today. She taught me to love and respect one another, to always trust in God, and to be honest and loyal. She is my example of strength having endured so much in life. She is also my best friend and my greatest supporter. the reason I chose these pictures from when we were shooting @nbcthevoice was because it meant the world to me to know that she respects my decision to choose music, understands it, and is behind me all the way!
