Yesterday I sat in the sun & stared up at this for hours just thinking about my life. (Yes, I am aware it sounds uber cliche) For those of you who don’t know, last year was a difficult year full of being bullied online by various sources, losing someone I loved very dearly to cancer, breaking up with my longtime boyfriend, & parting ways with two people I thought were my best friends. For a long time I blamed myself for things “falling apart”, until I realized how amazing my life is now compared to this time last year. My life had fallen together..so perfectly..just how it was supposed to happen. I also realized the people who made it their mission to rip me apart last year (& to this day) are all friends so it makes sense why I am the target. As sad as it is, the best part is those people are no longer in my life because I wouldn’t have room for the awesome people that are in it now. Basically, things really do always happen for a reason. Even if in that moment it seems unbearable to imagine your life without that person or to see the light at the end of the tunnel..its there. Yesterday not only did I see that light, I realized I was through the tunnel with a new appreciation for the people who loved me enough to push me the whole way.
