At the narrow spot below the north face of Kusum Kanguru is a small mill. In the drizzle I noticed the door was open and peeked inside. The miller was a deaf mute teenager who kept a steady stream of grain flowing into the center of the #granite mill stone. We shared a few coconut cookies and I continued on my way to Lukla, a #twinotter and world where most milling is computer programmed in a sterile environment. #nepal
