Every year I look forward to my Mawmaw's "trash" from back home in Mississippi. This year my Christmas package got lost in the mail. I was bummed to say the least. Well, today it arrived on my doorstep dated Dec 18th..how it find its way to me I don't know, but I am elated! I know it seems silly to be excited about food, but to me its the only tradition I have in Los Angeles. Its my grandmas special recipe that our family always looks forward to. It has pecans from the tree that my great grandparents planted...& now I feel like my family is with me..even across the country ♡ #family #tradition #happygirl
